The Modern Insurance Store is an independent Medicare, health, and life insurance agency based in Bethel, Ohio, serving Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio — with the option to meet in person, not just over the phone.

Why “Independent” Matters

We’re not employed by any single insurance carrier, and we’re not paid more to recommend one company’s plans over another’s. That independence is the whole point: when we compare Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare Supplement plans, or life insurance policies for you, we’re comparing them on their actual merits for your specific situation — your doctors, your prescriptions, your budget — not on which company happens to write our paycheck.

What We Do

• Help people turning 65 understand and enroll in Medicare
• Compare Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans against real doctors and prescriptions
• Help individuals and families who aren’t yet on Medicare find health insurance coverage
• Help people protect their families with term and whole life insurance
• Review existing coverage every year, not just at the point of sale

Our Approach

Insurance decisions — especially Medicare decisions — get made once and then often get ignored for years. We think that’s backwards. Plans change their networks, their formularies, and their extra benefits every year, even when you don’t switch plans yourself. We’d rather have an honest conversation with you now about what you actually need, and check back in with you down the road, than sell a policy once and disappear.

Our office is at 424 W Plane Street, Bethel, OH 45106, open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
