Overview of Medicare Plan F

Medigap Plan F, also known as Medicare Supplement Plan F, is the most complete Medicare Supplement policy. It covers Medicare deductibles, copays, and coinsurance, so you don’t pay anything out-of-pocket. It has been the best selling for decades, however, Plan F is now only available to those who became eligible for Medicare prior to January 1, 2020. If you don’t meet that qualification, Plan G is the most comprehensive plan available to you and has been the second best selling plan in recent years.

When adding Medicare Supplement Plan F, you will have very thorough coverage.

What Does Medigap Plan F Cover?

Medigap Plan F fully covers your Part A hospital deductible and your Part B outpatient deductible. It also covers the 20% that Medicare Part B does not cover, and any Part B excess charges such as the standard excess 15% that doctors may charge for Part B services. You will pay nothing out-of-pocket! You may choose from any of the over 880,000 doctors in the United States. You also are not required to get a referral from your primary care physician in order to see a specialist! You are also guaranteed renewal, your coverage will never be canceled due to changes in your health or amount of claims filed.

Why Choose Plan F?

The biggest reason why so many choose Medicare Supplement Plan F is so they never have to pay out-of-pocket again. It covers all gaps in Medicare Part A and B, including the 20% that Part B does not cover. You will never have to pay a deductible or copay!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How much is Medicare plan F?

Medigap Plan F covers your deductible entirely.

What is the difference between Medicare Plan F and Medigap Plan G?
